Greetings from Whitewater Soap Company!
The Whitewater Region is named after the world-famous whitewater section of the Ottawa River, known for rafting and kayaking. We are located in the heart of this region on Grants Settlement Road, and our lives are closely connected to the river and the surrounding landscape.
Inspired by the whitewater lifestyle, we bring that spirit into every product we create. Our product names reflect river life and the Ottawa Valley, and each box features an illustration inspired by the soap’s name. Whether you're an experienced paddler, a beginner, or someone who prefers to keep their toes dry, we’re confident you’ll find the perfect Whitewater product for yourself, your family, or your friends.
We currently focus on traditional bar soaps and solid haircare, including shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and beard wash bars.
Bar Soap
Our soaps are made using the traditional cold-process method. Plant-based oils are combined with lye (sodium hydroxide), beginning the saponification process that transforms the oils into gentle soap. Each batch is then cured for four weeks, allowing excess water to evaporate and creating a long-lasting, mild bar.
We use only simple, high-quality ingredients. For example, our Baby Face Fragrance-Free soap contains just four ingredients: three saponified oils and colloidal oatmeal. Handmade soap is a timeless, traditional way to cleanse and care for your skin.
Haircare
Whitewater Haircare is professionally formulated with well-known, hair-loving ingredients suitable for all hair and skin types. Our formulas are free from silicones, parabens, SLS/SLES, mineral oils, phthalates, formaldehyde, and added colorants.
Our products are scented with high-quality essential oils, and fragrance-free options are also available.
