How to use a solid shampoo bar?
It’s incredibly simple! Thoroughly wet your hair first. Rub the solid shampoo directly into your hair, starting from the roots, using gentle zigzag motions. Avoid circular motions and tangling. Work up a thick lather, massage your scalp, and rinse thoroughly. Since you've already created a rich lather the first time, you usually don't need to wash your hair twice.
Will it lather as well as liquid shampoo?
Yes, absolutely and even better. We formulate our bars with a set of premium, gentle foaming agents. They create a thick, dense and creamy lather, allowing you to wash your hair just once.
How many washes do I get out of a single bar?
Because our bars are highly concentrated monoliths without any water filler, a single bar is incredibly efficient. The exact number of applications depends on the length and thickness of your hair, as well as how often you wash it. You completely control the lather yourself. As soon as you get a rich, thick lather, you stop. This makes solid shampoo highly effective because you never use more than you actually need.
How should I store my shampoo bar so it lasts?
Solid shampoo is a monolith of high-quality ingredients: you take care of it, and it takes care of your hair. We apply strong pressure to ensure our shampoos are free of gaps and do not accumulate water. However, store it in a dry place between uses. After showering, we highly recommend placing the shampoo bar on a well-draining dish so it can air-dry fully. Never let it sit in a pool of water, or it will soften and degrade.
Is there a "transition period" when switching from liquid shampoo?
No! Unlike soap-based bars that can cause a waxy buildup or require a vinegar rinse, our shampoo bars are made with high-performance, scientifically balanced surfactants. They maintain an optimal pH for your hair, so you get a clean, lightweight, salon-quality wash from day one with no heavy residue or transition phase.
Do you recommend using a hair conditioner?
Yes, absolutely! Shampoo and conditioner are designed to work as a team: shampoo cleanses your hair, while conditioner protects it. A proper hair care routine should always include both. Every hair type benefits from using a conditioner. It helps with easy detangling, adds healthy shine and maintains the ideal pH balance of hair.
